Serves them Right

Thank God these monsters have finally been charged with a crime.

On Monday, the Justice Department announced an indictment against 5 private security guards who killed 17 Iraqi civilians in 2007 while traveling through Baghdad.  These guards were working for Blackwater Worldwide, owned and run by Erik Prince.

A sixth guard is testifying against the other 5 as part of a plea deal.

He is testifying that they fired indiscriminately, unprovoked, and without warning. These trigger-happy adrenaline junkies, sent to Iraq on $1000 a day salaries, considered themselves to be above the law. NEWS FLASH: You’re Not!

Iraqis are people just like everyone else. They cannot be shot at like targets on a range. The war in Iraq needs to end, and the Iraqi people need the time and space to heal.
